I teach regular classes in my center, and  give classes to children and teens in public schools, and in festivals. I organize the “Yoga na Aldeia” retreat and I frequently travel to India.

I like to compare Yoga practice with the nature observacion. When we contemplate nature and feel the smells, hear the sounds, and observe the colors, we stop. The mind focuses, concentrates, and observes the moment. This is how Yoga practice is. Only through observation, sensitivity and humility we can learn, feel and internalize.

Between 2016 and 2020 I assisted teacher Billy Konrad at the therapeutic classes.

I started and advanced training with the teacher Billy Konrad, which is still currently ongoing. First trip to India.

I’ve started practicing Yoga in 2012, having tried many styles.

And it was in 2013 that I started practicing Iyengar Yoga and since then I have dedicated myself with all my heart and soul to this method.

I’m a certified Iyengar yoga teacher, Introductory course of level II, by the Iyengar Yoga Association in the Uk, having done my training with Alaric Newcombe.

I’m also certified by Rainbow Kids Yoga and Connected Kids Professional Tuition of mindful activities, both in London.

I continue to study and deepen my knowledge of yoga practice, participating in retreats, workshops, regular classes and through my personal practice.

I deeply believe that Yoga is more than a physical discipline; it is a way of living.

And by finding pose, flexibility and ease in our Yoga practice we extend this to our lives, achieving true and lasting transformation.

I’m also graduate in Economics and specialized in Management Control and Accountancy.

I was born in 1976. From a very young age, I became curious about how physical activity influences the mental and emotional state of human beings, which led me to seek out sporting and artistic activities such as gymnastics and swimming, but also theatre, dance, singing and, later, yoga, which I began practising in 2000.

Shortly before that, however, I graduated in Visual Arts and devoted myself to teaching Art History, among other subjects, throughout my life.

During the journey that took me from Dynamic Hatha Yoga to Iyengar Yoga, I attended several training courses and obtained the necessary certification and legitimacy to teach.

From 2023 onwards, I began to feel the need to modify my practice and started to focus it more and more on refining sensitivity. At that point, I came into contact with teacher Lisa Petersen (Ireland) and her method of teaching Yoga and Somatic Movement.

Since then, in the classes I teach, I seek to harmoniously integrate these two areas in each session, with the aim of helping each practitioner find and develop their own way of being in Yoga, achieving peace, health and balance.

I started practising yoga with Francisco Palma at the Portuguese Society of Naturalogia in Lisbon.

I began practising Dynamic Hatha Yoga with teacher Carlos Rui Ferreira at the Portuguese Yoga Centre in Lisbon.

I attended the Advanced Personal Practice course with teachers Carlos Rui Ferreira and Alexandra Sequeira at the Portuguese Yoga Centre in Lisbon.

I attended the Yoga Instructor Course (2006-2009) with teachers Carlos Rui Ferreira and Alexandra Sequeira at the Portuguese Yoga Centre in Lisbon, obtaining certification in this method.

I moved to the Azores (São Miguel), where I devoted myself exclusively to the practice and teaching of Dynamic Hatha Yoga for two years (2009-2011).

I started practising Iyengar Yoga with teacher Billy Konrad at the then “Clara Light” studio, later renamed Lisboa Yoga Loft, in Lisbon.

I attended the Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training Course with teacher Billy Konrad (2013-2016) at the Upaya studio in Lisbon.

I took the Iyengar Yoga exam – Introductory Level, obtaining certification in this method.

I began practising Yoga, Somatics and Embodied Anatomy with teacher Lisa Petersen (Ireland).
